I was so happy with the service they provided. My AC went out on the hottest day of the year! Hoffman Brothers arrived first thing the next morning, exactly when they said they would. Craig, the technician, was excellent. He was very professional and found the problem quickly and had my AC back in service within 1 1/2 hours. I especially appreciated how he explained everything to me so I understood exactly what the problem was and what I could do to prevent it in the future.

My AC went out last night, called them this morning, and Mike was at my house before 11a. He was knowledgeable and respectful. He even had doggie treats in his pocket to make friends w my pups! Now my house is cooling off and they even sent a project manager over to quote me in a new system. Brian was also very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Hoffman Bros!

We’re in the planning process of a complete HVAC install, and Brett from Hoffman has been spectacular. Thorough, innovative, and conscientious, Brett is a true expert. Also, Chris Valentine who oversaw the installation of this system was great. They’ve engineered a system that evenly and consistently cools and heats this 100+ year-old house on all levels. I’m truly amazed and would highly recommend these experts.

Very thorough. Ryan answered all of my questions and I was impressed with how much the maintenance check included. Repair that one of the units needed was performed on the spot.

Another company had worked on our non functioning system for three days and suggested we call a different service provider. Unfortunately the Hoffmann technician had the SAME problem as our first service provider! After some discussion they were willing to try a repair rather than replace, and although the repair/return service took a couple of days, Hoffmann Brother’s was able to restore cooling during a very hot end of July week. We can now take time to decide what system we would like to replace our aging system with, and replace at a less busy/stressful time. We appreciate the persistence of the Hoffmann technician, Justin.

I am so glad that I have the Hoffmann Brothers Home Protection Plan. It is so worth every penny! Last night, I had a problem with my AC so I phoned and left a message with their answering service. Hoffmann Brothers phoned me at 7:15am today to let me know they would have one of their technicians out this morning. Scott Moore arrived in less than an hour. He was very thorough, professional and courteous. I’ve used Hoffmann Brothers for more than 20 years now because of their excellent quality work, their professionalism and their high level of customer service. They have always fixed the problem correctly, the first time. I highly recommend Hoffmann Brothers and their Home Protection Plan..

Hoffman Brothers is a wonderful company, I used them 2 years ago for a huge plumbing issue and now my AC went out and needs to be replaced (26 years old). Steve talked to me with respect, answered all my questions and was able to get me a better deal with the extra items needed for a high efficiency and I really appreciate that. Then to top it off Steven brought over a portable air conditioner to cool my house off at 8:00 on a Friday night Thank you so much.

First time I called them about my gas water heater that was leaking and needed repair. My cousin inherited monthly service plan with them when he bought a condo and used them on some occasion. Nick came over and, since my hvac system was quite old and I was thinking to replace it for some time, I decided to to get a quote for this too. Their quote for water tank was lower than some other place gave me a day before so I went with them. The other reason was that they do plumbing, hvac, appliance repair so it’s easier to call one place than to sit all day long calling various companies. Unless you know some small company/individual operator who does a good job and charges reasonable prices all these places charge about the same (a lot) no matter what kind of job it is. Big markups for everything! Anyway, my water heater tank started to leak heavily before the appt day so I called them again and, after some pressure and my frantic calls for help I finally got someone. Got a good man, he decided he can replace that tank instead of just shutting it down and had this job done, with another guy he brought in later, in about two hours. Had red carpet on my stairs to bring a new tank in and old one out. I didn’t catch his name with all the stress I had mopping water in my basement and pictures on their website were not good enough to find him there. I would recognize him if I see him for sure. I also had them to repair my gas stove. Again they did a good job but it was costly – over $300 for $50 part and 20 min of their time. Wasn’t surprised much but still.. I also had new HVAC system installed by them after that. They did it in one day although heater blower motor wasn’t working so Keith came next day to replace it. Actual problem was that piece of rubber pipe got into motor fan a day before when they were doing installation and it got stock. Keith replaced motor anyway to avoid any potential problems.

Justin did a great job with our water heater. He came in, inspected the unit, and gave us options for repair and replacement. When we decided to replace, he quickly and professionally got the materials and went to work. After the job was done, he cleaned everything up and disposed of the materials. Justin checked in multiple times throughout the process to let us know how things were going, why he was doing what he was doing and how the new unit worked. He was polite, courteous and professional the whole time. I would absolutely use Hoffmann Brothers again.

Our AC compressor went out in mid June. We had numerous bids. At an extremely busy time of year, Robert spent more time and was more thorough in his assessment and bid then the competitors. Chad and his install team did great and quick work in getting our new system installed. I’ve been very pleased with both the service and communication through the entire process.

I needed the gas line to an old gas fireplace capped off and Nick was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. He did the work requested and went above and beyond by asking if I had any questions about any other gas appliances since the home was new to us. I appreciated his time and care when completing the service call. Hoffman brothers is highly recommended!

Highly recommend the maintenance plan for your geothermal heating and cooling unit. Having Hoffman come out and service it twice a year gives us peace of mind knowing the expensive unit is working properly. The maintenance plan also replaces the filters so we get to live worry free with our system!

Mike was very efficient and professional. He found the problem within almost no time at all. He was nice, funny, and worked fast. I would highly recommend this business.
