What Temperature Should Air Conditioning Be Set At Night?
In the world of modern technologies, air conditioners have taken a special place in our homes. We cannot imagine warm and Sunny summers without air conditioners. Air conditioners work on very complicated machinery, and moderate the temperature in our homes. People think that air conditioners are the devices that are basically responsible for reducing the temperature of the room, but the device is actually responsible for conditioning the atmosphere inside the room.
How does it regulate temperature?
Regulating AC temperature has always been a tricky task, especially for people living in humid and hot conditions. It doesn’t matter how you set the temperature of the AC; the regulation of the machine somehow depends on the temperature of the surroundings present.
If you are interested in knowing how the AC regulates the temperature of the surrounding, then one must know that there is a condenser that is one of the most important parts of the air conditioner which is actually responsible for the regulation of the temperature. The condenser condenses the air and passes the air to the cooling element of AC. It cools down heated air off the room. The condenser works until the temperature of the room is not equalized with the temperature mentioned on the screen of the AC. However, most of the time, the air conditioner fails to achieve the lowest temperatures, like 65 degrees or even less; hence the condenser keeps on operating.
What should be the ideal temperature one should set on AC during the night?
Regulating the air conditioner and setting the temperature in the daytime is easy. You can easily control the air conditioner during the daytime with the remote, but this is not the case at night. Even the outer temperature keeps on falling as the night progresses; hence the regulation of AC becomes difficult. The main question out there remains that what should be the ideal temperature one should set at night for most efficient regulation.
The temperature setting depends on the location you live in.
If you live in cold conditions- if the outer conditions are cold, you can easily set the temperature from 75 to 78 degrees to get the most efficient regulation during the night. One can even raise the temperature depending on the condition.
If you live in moderate conditions- one who lives in moderate conditions can use the air conditioner between 70 to 80 degrees at night for the best result.
If you live in hot, humid conditions- if you live in very hot and humid conditions out there, you can easily set the AC between 70 to 75 degrees at night for a comfortable sleep.
Hence these are the temperature ranges in which you must adjust your AC to get good results.
